Striped Caviar Manicure

I started out with my base coat (Cult Nails Get It On) then used 1 coat of OPI’s Thanks A Windmillion, which I then dry completely. Next, one nail at a time, I did a diagonal stripe with a 2nd coat of my polish and immediately dipped that nail into my desired micro-bead color. I repositioned any stray beads with a rubber cuticle pusher and then gently pressed the beads down into the still semi-wet polish to secure them. I repeated this step for each nail.

Nail-Venturous Floam is an amazing polish! It’s made up of a super dense concentration of green and blue glitter, with a clear suspension base. It was actually a bit too thick on my first coat so I added a few drops of thinner and the application was a breeze after that. I used 3 coats for full coverage, although most people would be fine with 2 coats. As will all glitters, removal is a pain in the ass. And expect to find stray blue and green glitter EVERYWHERE for the next few days.

Today I have two amazing polishes from Dandy Nails on Etsy! This is two coats of Dandy Nails Parallel Universe with one coat of top coat. My photo doesn’t show the duo color as much as I would like, but this is a pretty aqua/lavender duo chrome polish! You can see the hint of lavender on the outer edges of my nails! It went on flawlessly.

Rainbow In The Air

I’m SO excited about today’s nails. I wanted to do some kind of rainbow nail art for ages and now I finally did it, yay! My first attempt was a mess, so I took it off and started again. Believe me if I say that this requires patience and a super steady hand. Oh, and it’s FUN to do!

Blue Skies Smiling At Me

Blueyearseve

I used a silver LA Colors polish and the Blue Years Eve to make double dots.    This pics don’t show it very well but the LA Colors and Blue Years Eve are both really glittery and gorgeous.  They go really well together.  What do you think?

Electric Cinder

This color is so amazing and so is the photograph!

I choose Orly Rock Candy to pair with OM’s “Cinder” pigment. Cinder is a dark smoky black with teeny tiny purple glitter flecks. This was actually the second franken I made with Cinder…the first being a FAIL. Not a huge fail, but still not what I wanted, and these pigments are so darn pretty they deserve nothing less than a 100% effort on my part! Rock Candy was a wise choice, and I only needed about a teaspoon of Cinder pigment.

OPI Into The Night 2

Into The Night is a bright shimmery blue. The shimmer in this is a tiny bit frosty but not in a bad way. I really like this one, it practically glows! It’s like a much brighter version of OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue. The formula was okay, not my favorite. It was sheer but it builds up nicely, I used 3 coats for the photos below. I would recommend wrapping the tips of your nails with this one, you can tell if you don’t. For those that have no idea what that means you just run the brush along the tip of your nail!
