Cygnus Loop is a purple base changing into dark purple, blue, burnt orange and underwater there are additionally gold and green gold shades. It is well pigmented so two coats will be enough for full coverage. in this case I have applied one coat over black. The polish is slightly streaky but it’s not that visible unless in the direct sunlight.

Today I’m going to be showing you all a Chanel Peridot dupe by Jessica called Iridescent Eye! Jessica is a brand I hadn’t heard of until recently and I was surprised to find is quite affordable.  You can pick up Iridescent Eye and many other Jessica polishes at Ninja Polish for $5.00 to $6.00!

Oh, Spiderman

Spiderman collection 070

Just Spotted the Lizard is a gold and green duochrome. I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. I love an affordable dupe to an expensive polish. With that said, this is a dupe of Chanel Peridot. Very pretty and interesting color for any collection, and the formula was great too, three easy coats for full coverage.

Today I have two amazing polishes from Dandy Nails on Etsy! This is two coats of Dandy Nails Parallel Universe with one coat of top coat. My photo doesn’t show the duo color as much as I would like, but this is a pretty aqua/lavender duo chrome polish! You can see the hint of lavender on the outer edges of my nails! It went on flawlessly.

Red Queen Astatine is the most duochrome polish in this collection. The color you see in the bottle is generally how the other polishes look, with their respective color undertone (in the other pics, the bottle is tilted so you can see the shimmer). Red Queen Astatine is a white shimmer polish with a reddish-purple undertone. On the nail, Red Queen Astatine changes from orange to red to purple. This polish is named for the 85th element, astatine. The photos above show this polish layered over black.

For your viewing pleasure today though is Models Own Indian Ocean from the new Beetlejuice collection, over CG Four Leaf Clover. I really liked it – even though it’s nothing like Aqua Lily, because FLC for some reason went really green with the Models Own over it (it’s still turquoise around the edges where it didn’t get coated…weird, given the MO is blue-based).

Electric Cinder

This color is so amazing and so is the photograph!

I choose Orly Rock Candy to pair with OM’s “Cinder” pigment. Cinder is a dark smoky black with teeny tiny purple glitter flecks. This was actually the second franken I made with Cinder…the first being a FAIL. Not a huge fail, but still not what I wanted, and these pigments are so darn pretty they deserve nothing less than a 100% effort on my part! Rock Candy was a wise choice, and I only needed about a teaspoon of Cinder pigment.
