Peacock-Inspired Marble

For this marble, I used my new blog design as inspiration. First, I picked out three colours that match the peacock feathers (China Glaze Grape Pop, Zoya Robyn and China Glaze Custom Kicks) and then I did my marble. But when I was done, I thought it was missing something. So, I added some white dots to tie in the white from my blog as well, and I think that really completed the look.

Striped Caviar Manicure

I started out with my base coat (Cult Nails Get It On) then used 1 coat of OPI’s Thanks A Windmillion, which I then dry completely. Next, one nail at a time, I did a diagonal stripe with a 2nd coat of my polish and immediately dipped that nail into my desired micro-bead color. I repositioned any stray beads with a rubber cuticle pusher and then gently pressed the beads down into the still semi-wet polish to secure them. I repeated this step for each nail.

Rainbow In The Air

I’m SO excited about today’s nails. I wanted to do some kind of rainbow nail art for ages and now I finally did it, yay! My first attempt was a mess, so I took it off and started again. Believe me if I say that this requires patience and a super steady hand. Oh, and it’s FUN to do!

Blue Skies Smiling At Me

I used a silver LA Colors polish and the Blue Years Eve to make double dots.    This pics don’t show it very well but the LA Colors and Blue Years Eve are both really glittery and gorgeous.  They go really well together.  What do you think?

Studded manicure

Simple, sleek but still edgy.

Glitterati Nails

I love purple too!

Purple glitter nails

I started with (not that you can even tell anymore, but it’s there) a base of Kleancolor Metallic Black, then put down a coat of Barry M Lavender Hexograms, let that dry, put down another coat and — while it was still wet — dropped some random pink, purple and fuchsia rhinestones from Bundle Monster. While that was drying, I took a second to appreciate how much it looked like my cell phone case (and yes, I’m a moth to anything glittery and/or purple, it’s a weakness I’m 100% okay with)

Sprinkled Agro Nails

China Glaze Hunger Games

The setup: pretty simple — two coats of China Glaze Agro (I will never get tired of these shimmery olive tones, I don’t care how many variations on the theme I have in the collection) with some gold acrylic dotted over the top in layers and a couple of different sizes for a bit of a cascade feel.
