Peacock-Inspired Marble

Peacockmarble1wm

For this marble, I used my new blog design as inspiration. First, I picked out three colours that match the peacock feathers (China Glaze Grape Pop, Zoya Robyn and China Glaze Custom Kicks) and then I did my marble. But when I was done, I thought it was missing something. So, I added some white dots to tie in the white from my blog as well, and I think that really completed the look.

Floral Glitter

Hey everyone! It’s been a couple of weeks since the last tutorial tuesday, and you’ve been missing it a tonne, I’m sure. This week’s tutorial is another one where you’ll have to head over to Divine Caroline to see the steps for this glitter floral design. If you would prefer to stick to the original colours of the dress in the article then go ahead, you definitely dont have to follow the same colour scheme I did.

If you love grey and glitter, this is THE polish for you! This is two coats of Elemental Styles E=mc^2 with one coat of top coat! Whitney’s creations are inspired by her love for Chemistry and polish! Application was spot on and NO digging for glitter, which I love! It reminds me of cookies n cream–if only polish was edible!!

Fresh spring

I don’t think I could pull off this look, but it is so sweet I couldn’t resist.

This style of nail art is called a “pond manicure!” It doesn’t so much reference an actual pond so much as it references the depth and the layers of the design. I followed a tutorial from Jacki at Adventures In Acetone, and she credits Olive View Fashion as the originator of this technique. It’s genius and gorgeous and best of all, EASY!
